The minimum system requirements for running our products are:
• Microsoft Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.
Will BrowserTweaks products work with FireFox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, etc.?
For now we have decided to develop our products for Microsoft Internet Explorer. We are researching the possibility of making our products compatible with other browsers like Netscape and Mozilla; however, for the present other browsers are not supported. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep this feature in mind for the future versions of BrowserTweaks products.
I have installed products from BrowserTweaks.com, but I can't see them. Where are they?
BrowserTweaks products are listed in your browser's Customize Toolbar dialog box. If you can't see our icons on the toolbar, go to the View > Toolbars menu and click Customize... In the next window, Customize Toolbar, you can add the required buttons from the Available toolbar buttons list, so they will be displayed in the browser toolbar. How will I know when a new version of a BrowserTweaks product is available?
The most recent versions are always avaiable on the Downloads page. You may have to uninstall the previous product version first, although this is not usually required.
I tried to install a BrowserTweaks product several times, but it doesn't work. What's wrong?
If a BrowserTweaks product can't be installed and you have made sure that this problem is not listed in this FAQ, then please contact us. Explain the problem in detail including which version of Windows, which version of Internet Explorer, and which program you are using.
How can I uninstall a BrowserTweaks product?
All our products can be uninstalled as easily and quickly as they are installed. To remove one of our products, use the Add or Remove Programs tools in the Windows Control Panel:
  • To open Control Panel, click Start and then click Control Panel. If your computer is set up in Classic view using the more familiar Start menu, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel;
  • Double-click the Add or Remove Programs entry;
  • Scroll through the list of programs and highlight the BrowserTweaks product you want to remove;
  • Click the Remove button.

You can add or remove BrowserTweaks toolbar buttons using the Customize Toolbar dialog box. Go to the View > Toolbars menu and click Customize...

BrowserTweaks.com respects and protects any confidential information about persons who are using our products. No personal data of any kind will be recorded or saved except as needed to solve problems you have with a product. Such information will be destroyed when the problem is solved. Our products are not spyware; they do not send any information to BrowserTweaks.com.
